Senior Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Senior Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and real-time streaming technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing event-driven integrations, stream processing solutions, and API-based integrations in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot for source system connectivity.
• Build and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, and event-driven services using Apache Kafka / Confluent Cloud.
• Develop and maintain Flink SQL and stream processing logic for transformation, enrichment, routing, validation, and de-duplication.
• Implement Schema Registry integration, topic schema validation, and message governance controls.
• Support REST/API integrations and Kong Gateway-based communication.
• Configure HTTP Sink integrations, payload mapping, retries, and failure handling mechanisms.
• Perform unit testing, component testing, and support SIT/E2E testing activities.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform replay activities, and conduct root-cause analysis during test cycles.
• Collaborate with downstream teams to resolve integration and Kafka topic-related issues.
• Work with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation and release support.
