The Opportunity

An exciting Sydney based opportunity exists for an experienced Product Manager to join a market leading global medical device organisation and lead the strategic direction of a specialised product portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.


This role will suit an individual who enjoys working across both strategic and operational functions, including product launches, portfolio growth, customer engagement, market analysis, and sales enablement.


You will partner closely with commercial and clinical stakeholders to identify opportunities, support market expansion, and ensure products continue to meet customer and business needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual product and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive portfolio growth through targeted marketing initiatives and market development activities.
  • Lead new product introductions, including launch planning, forecasting, pricing, inventory coordination, and customer adoption strategies.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify growth opportunities and improve market penetration.
  • Develop customer-focused marketing materials, sales tools, and educational resources.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and industry stakeholders.
  • Spend regular time in the field supporting customers, gathering market insights, and identifying emerging opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, product performance, and commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor product performance and provide regular reporting on portfolio growth and market activity.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Science, Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Commercial roles within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences sector.
  • Demonstrated success supporting product launches, portfolio management, or market development initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and customer-facing healthcare professionals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions while managing competing priorities.
