Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple initiatives within the Certainty of Service (CoS) program, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, quality, time, and cost. The role is responsible for managing projects focused on the modernisation of IT platforms, including Windows Server upgrades, SQL environments, backup solutions, Azure infrastructure, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience delivering infrastructure and networking projects within Azure environments, strong capability in managing both external vendors and internal technical teams, and demonstrated expertise in end-to-end project delivery, governance, and stakeholder management. A relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred.

Managing the full lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring strong financial oversight, operational delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team coordination. The IT Project Manager is involved in developing and managing project budgets, tracking expenditure against deliverables, and recommending adjustments where required. The role leads planning and execution activities, including project scheduling, resource allocation, implementation, and operational handover, while monitoring milestones, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure successful delivery. It requires maintaining robust governance through status reporting, change management, and risk, scope, and quality control, while proactively addressing issues and mitigating potential risks.

The Project Manager works closely with stakeholders to define requirements and maintain strong relationships, ensuring clear communication throughout the project. Additionally, the role focuses on leading and supporting project teams, setting clear expectations, managing time effectively, and communicating complex information in a clear, non-technical way, while collaborating closely with the IT Program Manager, Certainty of Service to remove blockers and drive outcomes.

The Successful Candidate Will Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years' relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (Project Management certification preferred)
  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure and networking projects within Azure environments
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and ability to work across global teams and time zones
  • Highly organised, self-managed, with strong problem-solving and multitasking capability
  • Strong infrastructure and system delivery experience, with knowledge of ITIL/ITSM; PMP or PRINCE2 preferred.
