About the Company

Our client is a globally recognised medical device manufacturer with a strong reputation for developing technologies that improve and sustain patient lives worldwide. As part of an ongoing product verification and reliability programme, they are seeking Test Engineers or Technicians to join their engineering team based at their site in Belgium.


The Opportunity

This is a hands-on testing role supporting the execution of reliability and performance testing activities on complex medical devices.


Working under the guidance of senior engineering leadership, you will help ensure testing is completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with established quality standards and protocols.


The team is looking to hire a combination of junior and experienced profiles, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking their first move into the medical device industry as well as those with previous testing experience.


Responsibilities

  • Operate medical devices within a controlled laboratory environment to support reliability testing programmes
  • Execute predefined test protocols and work instructions
  • Accurately record test results in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
  • Monitor testing activities and escalate issues where required
  • Support the generation of high-quality, compliant testing records
  • Work closely with senior engineering personnel throughout the testing programme


Requirements

  • Degree or background in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electromechanical or related Engineering discipline or Clinical experience operating similar medical devices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Comfortable working in a testing environment
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Previous experience within a regulated environment is advantageous
  • Experience of medical device testing would be highly beneficial
  • Flexibility around working hours is desirable
