As a Process Analyst, you play a key role in the digital transformation. Client has set ambitious goals for improving efficiency and quality. In addition, we must support the energy transition, the growth of renewable energy, and the nuclear phase-out. To achieve these objectives, extensive digitalization of our activities and workforce support is required. The Process Analyst is responsible for mapping current business processes (BPMN 2.0) and proposing process improvements in collaboration with all stakeholders. The Process Analyst works closely within a team of Business Analysts, focusing primarily on documenting processes. The Business Analyst then develops the specifications needed to implement the improved processes, whether supported by IT tools/systems or not.
We have deliberately created a dedicated Process Analyst role to ensure sufficient focus on process analysis. Close collaboration within the team is essential to ensure smooth handovers and coordination between responsibilities.
We are looking for a Process Analyst to analyze and model our processes in Sparx Enterprise Architect. We use the BPMN 2.0 methodology, which must be aligned with other teams and stakeholders. As a Process Analyst, you will actively contribute to further developing our methodology and coach and support other Business Analysts in applying it.
Key Responsibilities
- Model business processes and guide business teams in redesigning their processes.
- Challenge the business regarding their needs and future-state ("to-be") processes.
- Align and obtain validation for both current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") processes to ensure business ownership and acceptance.
- Contribute to the development of our process modeling methodology.
- Support the business in adopting and using new processes after implementation.
- Play an active role in change management, including:
- Developing training materials.
- Delivering end-user training.
- Following the existing change management methodology and utilizing the change management toolkit.
Additional Requirements
- Master's degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent through experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Process Analyst, including identifying business needs and defining as-is and to-be processes.
- Good command of English (reading and writing).
- Excellent command of either Dutch or French (speaking, reading, and writing), plus a good command of the second national language.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; willing to challenge assumptions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of building consensus and influencing stakeholders.
- Customer-oriented mindset and flexibility.
- Good knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and UML.
- Experience with Enterprise Architect (EA), Jira, and Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Experience in the electricity sector is an advantage.
