Scrum Master

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to act as an agile catalyst within a cross-functional squad, driving collaboration, focus, and high-impact delivery.

Work setup: Hybrid – 50% on site / 50% remote

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and other squad meetings.
• Ensure the effective use of Scrum methodology and support the squad in overcoming delivery obstacles.
• Support the Product Owner with Product Backlog management, sprint goals, and alignment with the broader delivery roadmap.
• Help the team deliver against the Definition of Done, Sprint Backlog, capacity, and velocity planning.
• Coach and challenge the squad while promoting self-organization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the squad from external distractions.
• Collaborate with other squads to identify, track, and resolve cross-squad dependencies.
• Proactively identify delivery risks, define mitigation plans, track open issues, and ensure follow-up.

Must-have requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile delivery role.
• Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and techniques, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong experience in delivery management within cross-functional agile teams.
• Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools, such as Jira.
• Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
• Sound knowledge of software development methodology and project management methodology.
• Knowledge of English plus at least one local language: Dutch or French.
