My client is scaling its data ecosystem to support automation, insight generation, and the national energy transition. Their engineering teams are building a fully standardised, automated Snowflake‑based data platform — and they’re looking for a Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer to help drive it.

• Building & automating standardised Snowflake Data Stacks (roles, permissions, databases, environments, lifecycle).
• Setting up and securing new Snowflake accounts (RBAC, network access, encryption, monitoring, auditing).
• Developing a Python-based framework engine in GitLab for self‑service stack deployment.
• Designing CI/CD pipelines for linting, testing, build, and deployment.
• Automating RBAC, policies, and provisioning via Entra ID.
• Integrating Snowflake with Matillion, Airflow, DBT for end‑to‑end data product delivery.
• Implementing governance, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Working closely with cloud, platform, data, and security engineers.

🎯 What You Bring

• 5+ years in data engineering or platform engineering.
• Deep Snowflake expertise (architecture, RBAC, object design, best practices).
• Strong Python skills (frameworks, provisioning engines, GitLab).
• API integration experience.
• Knowledge of Matillion, Airflow, DBT.
• Understanding of privacy, security & governance.
• Agile/SAFe mindset.
• Passion for automation, standardisation, and coaching fellow engineers.
