Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Engineer (BI & Risk Analytics) to integrate our teams into a large-scale international banking environment, supporting Risk reporting and analytics platforms.

You will contribute to the development and optimisation of data pipelines and Business Intelligence solutions that empower Risk teams to generate critical insights for management and regulatory purposes.

What you will do:

• Design and implement high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines to feed Data Warehouse solutions;
• Build and maintain automated data workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and release processes across environments;
• Develop and optimise data models and schemas aligned with BI best practices and business requirements;
• Support end-users in the usage of BI and data science tools (e.g., Dataiku), promoting best practices and efficiency;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Finance, IT) to deliver scalable and reliable analytics solutions.

What you are like:

• Proficient in Data Engineering concepts, with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT processes;
• Strong proficiency in SQL and confident working with large-scale datasets;
• Proficient in Python and/or PySpark for data processing and automation;
• Comfortable working with BI and data platforms such as Apache NiFi, Dataiku, or Tableau (valued);
• Familiar with data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and BI architecture best practices;
• Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
