Android Developer – Wallet Integrations

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an Android Developer to build and enhance wallet integration features within the existing mobile application. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly payment and card experiences while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Android application features that support digital wallet integrations within the mobile app.
• Implement payment and card-related user journeys, including card provisioning, tokenization status management, and wallet-focused UI components.
• Collaborate within Agile squads, actively contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Partner with backend developers, product owners, security teams, and compliance stakeholders to deliver secure and compliant wallet functionality.
• Develop, maintain, and execute UI and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Support end-to-end testing, production readiness activities, and successful feature launches.
• Investigate and resolve issues during development, integration, testing, and post-release phases.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software aligned with business and technical requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience in Android application development using Kotlin (Java knowledge is a plus).
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK and Android application architecture.
• Experience with Android UI development using XML layouts, Jetpack Components, and modern Android development practices.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with mobile payment technologies, wallet integrations, and card-related user flows.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Espresso.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile application deployment processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps and Confluence.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
