We are hiring a Senior Software Architect, on site in Muscat, to design the foundation every other team builds on.

What you'll do: Set the architecture, and the standards, that every team will build against.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the platform's reference architecture across low code and custom services, with scalability, resilience, and security designed in from day one
• Set the engineering standards, patterns, and architectural guardrails every team builds against
• Make the major technology and build versus buy decisions, and capture them as Architecture Decision Records
• Lead architecture and design reviews, and govern technical quality across teams
• Translate complex requirements into architecture that holds at national, multitenant scale
• Partner with data, platform, integration, and security leadership to keep the full stack coherent
• Mentor senior engineers and grow architectural capability across the organization

What makes you a fit:

• You have designed and shipped large scale production systems, and have the scars and the wins to show for it
• You think in patterns: microservices, event driven and domain driven design, API first integration
• You move fluently across a polyglot stack, where low code platforms and custom services live in one coherent design
• You treat scalability, resilience, and security as design constraints from the start, never bolt ons
• You lead by raising everyone around you: setting standards, reviewing designs, mentoring
• You hold a Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• You communicate sharply and align cross functional teams with ease
• Bonus points for government or enterprise digital transformation experience
• Fluent English required; Arabic is a valuable advantage
