Network Support Engineer — Juniper & Aruba specialist at a leading European technology firm

€55,000 + €5,000 On-Call Allowance | Dublin | Office Based

Our client is a pan-European technology business with around 1,500 engineers operating across 10 countries, delivering mission-critical network and security infrastructure for some of Europe's largest organisations. Their Dublin NOC is the hub for supporting a high-profile customer base across Juniper and Aruba Clearpass environments.

This is a 1st and 2nd line network support role with genuine progression built in. You'll start on the NOC, supporting customer environments remotely and occasionally on-site, while working alongside senior architects on staging and project work. The intention is to develop this person into project engineering — it's not just a support job, it's a launchpad.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• First and second line support for Juniper and Aruba Clearpass customer environments

• Incident management from initial triage through to resolution — with full SLA accountability

• Daily health checks across customer networks, producing technical reports for review

• Escalation to senior engineers and vendor TAC teams where required

• Patch management and preventative maintenance of managed infrastructure

• Occasional site visits to customer locations across Ireland

• Hands-on involvement with senior engineers on project staging as you develop

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3–4 years of network support experience — NOC or NSOC background ideal

• Juniper certification essential — JNCIA minimum, JNCIP preferred; Juniper certs carry the most weight here

• HPE Aruba Clearpass experience required — certification a strong plus

• Strong troubleshooting instincts — you diagnose methodically and don't guess

• Excellent written and verbal English — customer-facing from day one

• Full Irish or European driving licence required for occasional site visits

• Comfortable in an office-based environment — this role is 5 days a week in Dublin

THE PACKAGE

• €55,000 base salary

• €5,000 on-call allowance (optional rota)

• On-call not required for the first 6 months

• 5 days per week in the Dublin office
