DevOps Engineer — Terraform/HashiCorp Consul

Role:

• We are hiring a DevOps Engineer with practical experience in Terraform, HashiCorp Consul, and cloud infrastructure.
• This role is focused on building, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices.
• You will work with engineering, operations, architecture, and security teams to deliver reliable, reusable, and well-governed infrastructure solutions in an enterprise technology environment.
• This is a good fit for engineers who enjoy cloud automation, Terraform module development, CI/CD integration, and working with the HashiCorp ecosystem beyond standard cloud operations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and templates for different environments.
• Deploy, configure, and support HashiCorp Consul solutions.
• Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Integrate infrastructure automation with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support automation, deployment, troubleshooting, and infrastructure reliability.
• Help ensure infrastructure follows security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Work closely with development, operations, architecture, and security teams.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Terraform in real project or production-like environments.
• Experience working with HashiCorp Consul.
• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles, including reusable modules, version control, and repeatable deployments.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Basic scripting experience using Shell, Bash, Python, or similar.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a structured delivery environment.
