Human Resources Generalist

Hays has partnered with a well-established organisation based in Brisbane's north is seeking a Temporary HR Generalist to provide support during a key transition period within the HR team. This is a minimum three-week assignment with potential to extend.

Working closely with the HR Lead, Resource Manager and Regional Operations Manager, you will help maintain day-to-day HR operations across a busy regional workforce.

Your new role

• Maintain employee records and HR data
• Support payroll and HR administration activities
• Assist with Employment Hero (Hero) and HRIS updates
• Coordinate onboarding and compliance requirements
• Book White Cards, training and other mandatory licences
• Provide general HR and administrative support across the team

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in an HR Administrator or HR Assistant role
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Exposure to payroll support and HR systems
• Experience with Employment Hero, highly regarded
• Ability to manage compliance and training administration
• A collaborative, flexible and proactive approach
