Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join an Artificial Intelligence team working on generative AI and predictive AI use cases.

Work setup: Hybrid – Brussels, Belgium.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI applications such as virtual assistants and automation solutions.
• Apply generative AI and predictive AI methodologies to solve business challenges.
• Work with techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, NLP, speech-to-text, image interpretation, and classical machine learning.
• Develop robust Data Science solutions using Python, deep learning, and pre-trained models.
• Contribute to the deployment of AI applications into production environments.
• Analyze large and varied datasets to generate actionable insights and business value.
• Present results, recommendations, and project outcomes to senior stakeholders and top management.
• Collaborate within an Agile team, sharing knowledge and contributing to continuous innovation.

Must-have requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Data Science and Analytics.
• Proven experience developing generative AI applications.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Solid knowledge of deep learning and pre-trained models.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent analytics expertise.
• Fluent in English. Fluent in Dutch or French.
