Position Summary
We are looking for a Lead Interactive Systems Developer to lead the design, development, deployment, and continuous evolution of the interactive technologies powering Exhibition Hub's immersive experiences. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of interactive projects—from concept and prototyping to deployment and long-term maintenance—working on interactive kiosks, mobile applications, augmented reality experiences, sensor-based installations, backend systems, and internal tools.
Roles and responsibilities
- Design and develop immersive interactive experiences, kiosks, touchscreen applications, mobile apps, and AR experiences.
- Develop sensor-based interactions using RFID, NFC, QR codes, cameras, motion sensors, and computer vision.
- Architect software solutions, backend services, APIs, dashboards, and administration tools.
- Define technical standards and lead architecture decisions across projects.
- Prototype innovative technologies and transform successful concepts into production-ready systems.
- Ensure reliable deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting across worldwide exhibition locations.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Production, Content, and Operations teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development and architecture.
- Strong experience with C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Python, REST APIs, SQL, Git.
- Experience developing Android and/or iOS applications.
- Experience building interactive kiosks and visitor-facing technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project ownership skills.
Preferred Experience
- Unity and real-time 3D development.
- ARKit, ARCore, WebAR, computer vision, RFID/NFC, Raspberry Pi, embedded systems.
- 3D software (Blender, Rhino, Cinema4D, 3ds Max).
- Museums, immersive exhibitions, attractions, escape rooms, or themed entertainment.
- Experience mentoring developers or leading technical teams.
