Data Centre Construction Project Manager

WNTD are supporting a hyperscale data centre infrastructure programme in Finland and are looking to speak with experienced Data Centre Project Managers, MEP Managers, Technical Services Managers and Construction Managers.

This is a physical data centre infrastructure delivery role. It is focused on construction, MEP works, commissioning, contractor coordination and site delivery.

This is not an IT infrastructure, software, cloud, SD-WAN or digital transformation role.

The role

You will support the delivery of data centre infrastructure works within a live or high availability environment, working closely with construction teams, MEP contractors, commissioning teams, operations and client stakeholders.

The scope will include coordination of mechanical, electrical, cooling, power and associated infrastructure works through planning, installation, commissioning, closeout and handover.

We are looking for people with experience in:

• Data centre construction or major infrastructure upgrades

• MEP delivery within mission critical environments

• Mechanical, cooling, electrical or critical facilities scope

• Commissioning, handover, closeout or operational readiness

• Contractor, subcontractor or package management

• Live data centre, hyperscale or high availability environments

• Site coordination, risk management, change control and schedule ownership

Important

Candidates must have clear data centre construction, MEP or commissioning delivery experience.

Profiles focused mainly on IT infrastructure, networks, cloud, software, hardware deployment, ICT transformation or general programme management will not be suitable for this requirement.

Location

Finland based project.

Candidates must already be based in Finland or be genuinely able to relocate / work on site in Finland for the assignment.
