About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team dedicated to building a next-generation online banking platform. This platform is designed to seamlessly integrate with Lexware, providing features such as Smart Split for sub-accounts, lending modules, automated payment reconciliation, and intelligent financial analytics. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, developing features, and scaling our services to handle increasing volumes of financial data with high reliability and performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a pioneering product in a fast-paced, innovative environment where experimentation and collaboration are valued. You will have the flexibility to work remotely or from our office in Freiburg im Breisgau, balancing personal productivity with team engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-stack web development, with strong skills in React, TypeScript, Material UI, and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms, especially AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Commitment to software engineering best practices, including clean code, test-driven development (TDD), and agile methodologies.
• Experience working within microservice architectures and managing the associated technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C2 level), with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multilingual environment.

• Lead the development of innovative features for the Lexware business account within a cloud-based web application, focusing on delivering value to users through iterative improvements.
• Design, implement, and maintain a robust microservice architecture to ensure seamless communication and data flow between services.
• Contribute to shaping our technological landscape by evaluating and adopting new tools, frameworks, and approaches that enhance our platform’s capabilities.
• Drive the integration of artificial intelligence and automation workflows, actively participating in organizational transformation driven by agentic AI technologies.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for features, from initial concept through to deployment and monitoring in the cloud environment, ensuring scalability and stability.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging in open experimentation, team discussions, and iterative development processes.
