Job Type: 6-Month Daily Rate Contract

Job Description:

Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives. This role will facilitate Agile delivery, remove delivery impediments, and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams during an initial 6-month daily rate contract.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams to ensure Scrum principles and best practices are consistently followed.
• Remove obstacles that impact team productivity and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritise the product backlog.
• Track sprint progress and communicate delivery status, risks, and dependencies to key stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise team processes and Agile maturity.
• Foster strong collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors where required.
• Support multiple workstreams to ensure successful delivery of programme objectives.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years' experience working as a Scrum Master within Agile delivery environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex technology or digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and iterative delivery methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Ability to work independently while supporting collaborative team environments.

Desirable Skills

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM or equivalent).
• Experience working within large enterprise environments.
• Exposure to SAFe, Kanban, or other Agile delivery frameworks.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar Agile tooling.
• Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, software development, or digital transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous delivery principles.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent third-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Relevant Agile or project delivery certifications are advantageous.
