Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to help us ensure high product quality through thorough manual testing and strong collaboration with engineering and product teams. Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for UI and API testing

• Perform exploratory testing, identify edge cases, and ensure solid test coverage

• Validate data using SQL queries and perform database testing as needed

• Analyze test results, report defects clearly, and verify fixes through re-testing

• Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria

• Document test processes, results, defects, and other QA-related artifacts

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices within the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• At least 2–3 years in a QA or similar role, with a strong track record in manual testing and quality assurance

• Solid experience with UI and API testing (tools like Postman are a strong advantage)

• Ability to write SQL queries for effective data validation and database testing

• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps for project management and defect tracking

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development principles

• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting

• Excellent communication skills to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively with team members

Nice to have:

• Experience with test automation (Selenium / Playwright)

• Experience with .NET projects or testing applications built on .NET

• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., pipelines, test runs, reporting)

• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks (structure, maintainability, reporting)

The preferred candidate must have:

• Ability to understand client needs deeply and translate them into effective testing strategies

• Proven ability to work efficiently in an Agile development environment, showing flexibility and strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
