Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / Supervisor to support our growing operations in MGI Latvia. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to business leaders and a hands-on HR professional capable of managing the full employee lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment

  • Partner with team leaders to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Provide HR insights to improve performance, structure, and culture
  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional and functional leaders

2. Talent Management

  • Support recruitment, succession planning, and talent development
  • Build strong internal talent pipelines and career development paths
  • Focus on identifying and nurturing high-potential sales talent

3. Performance & Rewards

  • Co-design and implement transparent, motivating incentive plans
  • Drive adoption of performance management and feedback systems
  • Provide coaching to leaders and teams on performance improvement

4. Team Health & Retention

  • Monitor key people metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, satisfaction)
  • Identify potential risks and propose actionable retention strategies
  • Strengthen team cohesion through well-being and cultural initiatives

5. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Address employee issues effectively and fairly
  • Support audits and maintain accurate HR documentation

6. Operational HR Support

  • Manage HR operations including compensation & benefits, payroll coordination, HR documentation, onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support process optimization


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience in a European business environment
  • Strong knowledge of the full HR lifecycle and regional employment practices
  • Experience in HR data analysis and delivering data-driven insights
  • Fluent in English and Latvian, both written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized, hands-on, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong team player with a solution-oriented mindset

Reporting to: Senior HR Manager, EU&AF & LATAM
