About Pulsetto

Pulsetto is one of the fastest-growing wellness tech companies - in 2025 we were officially recognised by Deloitte as the #1 Company to Watch in the Technology Fast 50 CE program.

You may have also seen us on Netflix’s “Don’t Die”, our founder’s Shark Tank pitch 🦈, or even heard that Cristiano Ronaldo and top NBA players use Pulsetto for recovery.

Despite the spotlight, we’re a humble team, moving fast, iterating even faster, and building the future of nervous system wellness. And now we’re expanding our team to power the next stage of global growth.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on, data-owning product role. You won’t manage a team or babysit a backlog — you’ll own metrics, pull your own funnel, and ship the experiments that move retention. This is not a stakeholder-management or pure-strategy seat.

Pulsetto already sells the device; the app has to prove the transformation. Every session generates biosignal data — HRV, sleep, recovery — on top of app behaviour and subscription history. Your job is to turn that into product people feel. You own the three things that make people keep paying: new products we build from our own data.

Your Day-to-Day

You will lead the intersection of data science, user behavior, and subscription monetization across three core pillars:

  • The Personalization Layer: Own and architect our adaptive app experience. You will design how the app guides users based on their unique behavior, self-stated goals, and shifting biosignal trends—ensuring the app feels like a custom-tailored health program rather than a static library.
  • Building New Products from Data: Mine our existing dataset (VNS sessions, HRV/sleep patterns, app usage, subscription history) to uncover unmet customer needs. You'll take these insights from 0→1, turning them into high-value, in-app features that directly lift activation, trial-to-paid conversion, and long-term retention.
  • Hands-on Funnel Analysis: You don’t wait around for a data analyst to build dashboards. You will jump directly into SQL, Amplitude, and RevenueCat to uncover friction points, analyzing iOS, Android, and web channels separately (because blended data lies).
  • Hypothesis-Driven Shipping: Every product bet you make will follow a strict framework: Hypothesis → Metric → Decision Date. You will hold a remarkably high bar for honesty in data, ignoring vanity metrics and ruthlessly cutting features that look pretty but fail to move the numbers.

(Note: You will not own hardware, firmware, ML model internals, or paid marketing campaigns—your singular focus is the commercial product loop within the app).

What We Are Looking For:

  • Mobile Subscription Expertise: Strong experience managing a mobile app or D2C subscription roadmap, with total command over monetization metrics (trial conversion, renewal rates, churn cohorts, win-backs, and LTV).
  • Data Self-Sufficiency: Deeply analytical and capable of writing your own queries. You must be comfortable navigating SQL, Amplitude, RevenueCat, or equivalent product analytics tools entirely on your own.
  • Biosignal Literacy: Enough comfort with health data and metrics to responsibly build a health/stress score. You understand data noise, baseline shifts, and what a digital sensor can and cannot honestly claim.
  • 0→1 Shipping History: Proven ability to spot an insight in raw user data and transform it into a live, successful application feature, rather than just tweaking an existing checkout button.
  • The "Less is More" Mindset: You believe in building clean, intentional software. You would happily remove three underperforming features before choosing to add a new one.

The Hard Part (so you know):

  • The product is a complex hybrid: A "simple" product adjustment can touch hardware constraints, scientific data models, customer support, lifecycle marketing, and app store compliance simultaneously.
  • The data isn't pristine: Our data infrastructure is still growing. Part of your early success will mean auditing what we track and making our data streams trustworthy before betting big money on them.
  • Honesty over hype: The app's stress-resilience metric is the very soul of Pulsetto. Get it wrong, and we mislead users about their health.
