Key Responsibilities

Frontend Architecture & React Development

•Design, develop and maintain complex frontend applications using React.

•Contribute to the architecture of advanced React projects, including micro-frontends and performance optimisation.

•Define and apply frontend architecture principles in line with project requirements and EIB standards.

•Ensure that frontend solutions are scalable, maintainable, reusable and aligned with best practices.

•Participate in the technical design of application components and user interface modules.

•Support the integration of frontend applications with backend services and APIs.

•Contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend development practices and standards.

•Identify and resolve performance, maintainability and architecture-related issues in frontend applications.

JavaScript, TypeScript & Frontend Development

•Develop application components using JavaScript and TypeScript standards.

•Ensure clean, structured and maintainable frontend code.

•Apply best practices in HTML, CSS and responsive frontend development.

•Support the implementation of user interfaces in line with functional and technical requirements.

•Contribute to code quality, consistency and reusability across frontend components.

•Participate in technical analysis and implementation of frontend features.

•Support troubleshooting, debugging and optimisation of frontend applications.

•Ensure compatibility, reliability and usability of frontend components.

REST APIs & Fullstack Development

•Contribute to the integration of frontend applications with REST APIs.

•Support the design, consumption and testing of API-based services.

•Work with backend teams to ensure efficient communication between frontend and backend layers.

•Contribute to fullstack development activities where required.

•Support backend-related implementation activities, preferably in Java Spring Boot environments.

•Analyse technical dependencies between frontend applications, backend services and external systems.

•Contribute to technical solutions covering both frontend and backend aspects of the application landscape.

•Ensure that application components are aligned with security, performance and maintainability expectations.

Testing, Documentation & Quality Assurance

•Prepare and execute unit testing activities for frontend and related application components.

•Contribute to the definition and implementation of testing practices.

•Support code reviews and quality assurance activities.

•Document technical designs, implementation decisions and development standards.

•Prepare clear and structured technical documentation in English.

•Support defect analysis, troubleshooting and resolution.

•Ensure that delivered components meet functional, technical and quality requirements.

•Participate in continuous improvement activities related to development quality and maintainability.

Development Tools, Build Tools & CI/CD

•Use modern development and build tools to support application development and delivery.

•Contribute to build configuration, packaging and release preparation activities.

•Support CI/CD practices and deployment automation.

•Work with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps.

•Support the implementation and maintenance of automated build and deployment pipelines.

•Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams where required.

•Contribute to release management and deployment-related technical activities.

•Ensure that development and delivery practices are aligned with EIB standards and project needs.

Analysis, Design & Stakeholder Collaboration

•Participate in analysis, design and implementation activities across the assignment lifecycle.

•Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, testers and project teams.

•Translate business and technical requirements into appropriate software solutions.

•Provide technical input to design discussions and implementation planning.

•Communicate clearly on progress, risks, issues and technical decisions.

•Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications and project documentation.

•Work effectively within tight deadlines and structured delivery processes.

•Support knowledge sharing and continuity of service throughout the assignment.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Frontend Architecture & React

•Strong experience in the architecture and development of complex React projects.

•Experience with advanced React concepts, including micro-frontends and performance optimisation.

•Ability to design scalable, maintainable and reusable frontend architectures.

•Strong understanding of frontend application structure, component design and state management principles.

•Ability to troubleshoot and optimise complex frontend applications.

•Experience working on large-scale or business-critical web applications.

JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML & CSS

•Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript standards.

•Solid experience developing frontend applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript.

•Strong experience with HTML and CSS.

•Ability to implement clean, structured and maintainable frontend code.

•Understanding of responsive design, browser compatibility and frontend performance considerations.

•Ability to apply frontend development best practices in a professional software delivery environment.

REST APIs & Fullstack Development

•Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.

•Good understanding of API consumption, testing and troubleshooting.

•Fullstack experience is required, preferably including Java Spring Boot.

•Ability to collaborate with backend teams and contribute to fullstack implementation activities.

•Understanding of application integration principles and frontend-backend dependencies.

•Ability to support technical analysis and implementation across application layers.

Testing & Quality Assurance

•Experience with unit testing in frontend development environments.

•Ability to define, implement and maintain unit tests.

•Understanding of software quality, code review and maintainability practices.

•Ability to troubleshoot defects and contribute to their resolution.

•Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software components.

Development Tools, Build Tools & CI/CD

•Experience with modern development and build tools.

•Knowledge of build, packaging and release preparation activities.

•Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

•Knowledge of Azure DevOps would be a strong advantage.

•Ability to support automated build and deployment pipelines.

•Understanding of software delivery lifecycle and deployment processes.

Education & Languages

•Senior profile as per the Framework Agreement, with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.

•Relevant academic background in IT, computer science, software engineering or a related field would be expected.

•Fluency in English is mandatory.

•Strong ability to prepare clear technical documentation in English.
