Senior Data Scientist

As our Senior Data Scientist you'll own the analysis that shapes how we grow, retain, and monetize. You'll go deep on user behavior, run the experiments that test our biggest bets, and turn messy data into the recommendations leadership actually acts on.

We're an AI-first team - that includes analytics. We use AI tools daily to work faster and think sharper, and we want someone who already operates that way.

We're headquartered in Ljubljana city centre and the team works on-site. Our team is international and English is our first office language.

We trust good instincts and use data to pressure-test our thinking, not replace it. We hold ourselves to a high bar because we genuinely believe we're building something that can be the best in its space.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Data analysis

– Own retention, engagement, and monetization analysis end to end

– Build cohort dashboards, churn analysis, and LTV/CAC reporting leadership relies on

– Turn ambiguous questions into clear, defensible recommendations

– Segment users by geography, niche, and channel to find what actually drives growth

– Spot leading indicators before they become problems

Experimentation

– Design and lead A/B tests on landing pages, onboarding, pricing, and upsells

– Set success metrics and guardrails, then call the result and the next move

– Build the experimentation backlog and prioritize what gets tested next

Product & business insights

– Analyze user behavior across the full funnel - onboarding, activation, engagement, retention

– Identify where users drop off and why, then push the fix with product and ops

– Bring a point of view to pricing, roadmap, and monetization conversations

– Present findings directly to leadership and defend the "so what"

WHAT WE EXPECT

Essential:

– At least 3 years of relevant experience

– Strong with SQL, data modeling, BI tools, and retention/LTV analysis

– AI-first mindset - you already use AI tools to move faster and think bigger

– A revenue mindset - you understand monetization, pricing, and CAC/LTV trade-offs

– Comfortable owning a domain with minimal oversight and defending your conclusions

– Comfortable working in ambiguity, adapting to changes and wearing multiple hats

– A lot of drive, energy, and time

– Ability to work from our office in Ljubljana city center

– Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Bonus points:

– Experience with a subscription/SaaS business (MRR, churn, cash conversion cycle...)

– Experience with forecasting or financial modeling

– Previous startup experience (especially early-stage)

– You are based close to Ljubljana (or willing to move)
