Senior Business Analytics Tester

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Analytics Tester with an experience in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and functionality of Business Intelligence (BI) systems and data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of testing methodologies, data analysis, and SQL querying to identify and resolve defects while contributing to data-driven business initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development, testing, and implementation of robust data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines.
• Utilize SQL to query data warehouses, identify discrepancies, and validate data accuracy between source and target systems.
• Perform data quality testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and developers to resolve defects and enhance data integrity.
• Document test results, including defects and recommendations, in clear and concise reports.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for regression testing.
• Present tested system functionalities to stakeholders in events like Sprint reviews.
• Assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key skills and expertise:

• Testing: Business Intelligence (BI), Data Analytics, and Data Quality Testing
• Technical Proficiency: SQL querying (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake), data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Test Management: Test plan and case design, defect tracking using tools like Jira
• Methodologies: Proficient in SDLC and Agile/SCRUM frameworks

Nice to have skills:

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling and Data Vault architecture.
• Experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Selenium, Robot Framework, or AHK.
• Basic knowledge of Python for testing and automation purposes.
