Role Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Warehouse / Business Data Analyst to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise data warehouse solutions.

The role focuses on gathering business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, defining data models, identifying source-to-target mappings, and supporting the delivery and testing of data solutions within a data warehouse environment.

You will act as a key link between business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers, ensuring that data structures and reporting solutions accurately reflect business needs and are implemented according to technical standards.

Core Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with data, analytics, or data warehouse environments in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, architecture, and data modeling principles
• Very good knowledge of SQL (any technology: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience in requirements gathering and business analysis in IT/data projects
• Proven experience in data modeling and designing data structures for analytical purposes
• Ability to define and document source-to-target mappings between systems and data layers
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum preferred)
• Ability to collaborate with developers, testers, and technical teams

Nice to have:

• Experience in the financial services sector (banking, insurance, fintech)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory)
• Experience with Databricks or similar big data platforms
• Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Role Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for data warehouse and reporting solutions
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
• Define and maintain data models for analytical and reporting purposes
• Identify and document source systems and perform source-to-target data mapping
• Design and support prototyping of data solutions using SQL
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers during implementation of data warehouse changes
• Support testing activities, including validation of data correctness and completeness
• Participate in solution design discussions with architects and technical teams
• Ensure data consistency, quality, and documentation standards are maintained
• Coordinate tasks and communication across business and technical stakeholders during delivery cycles
