Embedded Software Engineer – Trondheim

Our client is an established Norwegian engineering company with a strong international presence, supplying control systems and hardware solutions to the global maritime and industrial markets.

They are currently expanding their product offering, moving from component-level supply into fully integrated systems, and are investing in their R&D capability to support this. It is an exciting period of growth and the hire will have a real impact on how the next generation of products are built.

The Role

You will take a broad technical role contributing across sensor firmware development, system integration tooling, and some hardware analysis. This is a hands-on position with real ownership, working on products deployed globally.

What They Are Looking For

• 5+ years of firmware development experience, ideally from an industrial environment
• Expert level C/C++
• Experience with RTOS
• Experience building firmware that runs on physical products
• Comfortable taking a broad technical role and supporting operations, procurement, and manufacturing where needed
• Willingness to mentor other developers
