We offer a key role within a small, highly skilled, and driven team operating in an international environment. You will play an integral part in scaling the Ukraine Fund, leveraging Norfund’s established platform, track record, and collaborative culture. This role provides a unique opportunity to further develop your investment expertise while contributing to meaningful impact in Ukraine. The Ukraine Fund invests across all Norfund’s key investment areas: agribusiness, manufacturing, renewable energy, green infrastructure, financial institutions and funds.
In this role, you will lead investment projects with support from junior colleagues and peers, while reporting to senior leadership. You will contribute across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and execution to active ownership and exit. The position is based in Oslo
Responsibilities and tasks
- Source and develop investment opportunities
- Lead financial analysis, valuation, modelling, and investment presentations
- Lead deal structuring, negotiations, due diligence, investment assessment, and transaction execution
- Prepare high-quality investment committee materials and ensure a disciplined process for documentation, approvals, and follow-up
- Manage relationships with portfolio companies, co-investors, and other key stakeholders
- Drive active ownership through board, advisory board, and LP committee participation
- Contribute to sector, country, and regional strategies
- Lead internal projects to improve ways of working
- Represent Norfund externally at conferences and events
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Travelling is required
Qualifications
We are looking for experienced, high-performing professionals who have:
- Experience leading investment projects or M&A transactions
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, organized, and results-oriented approach
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, including financial modelling and contract assessment
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Master’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or equivalent with a strong academic record
- Fluency in English is required
