Investment Analyst - Private Equity

An established private equity investor is looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join its growing team in Amsterdam.

The firm invests in mid-sized companies and works closely with management teams to support strategic transformation, operational improvement, and long-term value creation. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, portfolio management, and exit processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases
• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and commercial due diligence
• Assist with transaction processes, including management meetings, advisors, and third-party diligence providers
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal presentations
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support value-creation initiatives
• Participate in strategic projects alongside management teams and senior investment professionals

Candidate Profile

• 1-4 years of relevant experience within: Investment Banking; Transaction Services / Deal Advisory; Strategy Consulting; Private Equity or Growth Equity
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong academic track record
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are advantageous
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a lean, hands-on team environment
