Job Summary (List Format)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong programming skills with Java and Node.js
- Backend development experience with TypeScript and Express (asset)
- Solid relational database experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data transformation and analytical SQL querying
- Strong understanding of complex SQL, including subqueries, window functions, aggregations, triggers, partitioning, indexing, and query optimization
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience leveraging AI coding assistants (especially Claude) to enhance development productivity and support data transformation
- Proficient in using VS Code
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of REST APIs
- Familiarity with Dynatrace and Jira
- (Preferred) Experience with Kenan billing platform or similar telecom billing systems
- (Preferred) Knowledge of billing processes/schemas or ability to learn complex billing environments
- (Preferred) Telecommunications/BSS experience
- Strong quality focus, including unit testing, integration testing, and data validation
- High awareness of security, especially with sensitive government data
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills to facilitate knowledge transfer and teamwork
