Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and solutions provider within the commercial construction sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Operations team in a full-time capacity.

This role is responsible for coordinating projects post-sale, ensuring all products and installations are delivered safely, on time, within scope and within budget - while meeting client requirements and site conditions.

About the Role

Working closely with internal teams, clients and subcontractors, you will take ownership of projects from handover through to completion. This includes ensuring product suitability, overseeing installation methods and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Some projects may involve customised product design to meet specific client or site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal teams and external contractors for successful project delivery

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget

  • Develop project scopes, objectives and detailed delivery plans

  • Monitor project progress and manage scope, schedule and cost variations

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and systems

  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships

  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation

  • Assist with preparation and monitoring of project budgets

  • Provide accurate technical advice to customers regarding product suitability

  • Prepare production documentation for manufacturing requirements

  • Complete statutory handover documentation

  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements for employees and subcontractors

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience within the commercial construction industry or metal fabrication/manufacturing is ideal

  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and construction documentation

  • Understanding of building site conditions and installation methods

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and document management systems (e.g. Aconex or similar)

  • Professional and confident communication style

  • Graduate Engineers are encouraged to apply.
