Project Manager (PMO)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Daily Rate: Up to €800 per day
Start Date: ASAP

We are recruiting an experienced Project Management Methodology (PMM) Specialist to support the delivery of a major national infrastructure programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior project management professional with experience in infrastructure, utilities, engineering, or construction to help embed best practice project management across a large and complex portfolio of projects.

Working closely with Programme Managers, Project Managers and key stakeholders, you will champion the organisation's Project Management Methodology (PMM), ensuring consistent application of project governance, planning processes and delivery standards.

You will facilitate project workshops, coach project teams, improve project management capability and support the continuous enhancement of project management processes, tools and templates.

• Support project teams in applying the Project Management Methodology (PMM)
• Facilitate project planning workshops, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, risk management sessions, stakeholder management workshops and lessons learned reviews
• Promote best practice project governance across multiple programmes
• Drive the adoption of PMM processes, tools and templates
• Coach and mentor project managers and project teams
• Capture feedback and implement continuous improvements throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the rollout and adoption of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
• Contribute to improving project delivery assurance and organisational project management capability
  
  

• Minimum five years' project management or PMO experience
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance
• Experience delivering construction, infrastructure, engineering or utility projects
• Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Full Irish/EU/EEA driving licence with flexibility to travel nationwide
  
  

• Previous PMO experience
• Experience within utilities or electricity networks
• Knowledge of SAP, GIS or Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
• Experience using Power BI, Excel or other reporting tools
• Technical background in Engineering, IT or Data
• Experience working within large infrastructure or asset-intensive organisations
  
  

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Data or a related discipline
• PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent Project Management qualification
• PMO certification desirable
  
  

• Daily rate up to €800
• 12-month contract
