We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our client and actively contributing to the development and delivery of features and solutions for their customers. Your responsibilities will include building scalable software applications with a focus on quality, functionality, and efficiency. Working within an Agile environment, you’ll participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement sessions, and retrospectives.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Must Have: Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth settings, particularly in startups or scale-ups.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while benefiting from a buddy system with a senior engineer for guidance in your first year.
  • Experience of Financial Services
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working within engineering teams and across other departments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving roles and responsibilities.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SaaS, cloud-based solutions, financial services, and environments with high levels of test automation and CI/CD.
  • Understanding of financial product lifecycles


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable software applications, writing clean, functional code for both the front-end and back-end.
  • Collaborate with product managers to ideate and implement new software solutions and features.
  • Partner with business analysts and quality engineers to define and meet acceptance criteria.
  • Build and manage robust databases, applications, and APIs while adhering to security and data protection standards.
  • Conduct thorough self-testing of software for responsiveness and efficiency, and assist in transitioning to Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance software systems.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and system design best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to execute builds and testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Share innovative ideas and experiences to drive development solutions.
