Project Manager

Our client is a Global Renewable Operator based in South East London that are recruiting for a Project manager

Salary £60k - £65k plus benefits

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience and success in the following areas :

o Education - A good engineering degree or equivalent is required o A sound engineering background which can be used as a basis to build specific knowledge in the industrial gases market. o Leadership skills and a proactive approach to getting things done o Considerable experience within a Project Engineering or Project Management position, and a sound understanding of Project Management as a discipline, including at least 5 of the following items

o Single Point of Contact communication with Senior individuals within customer organizations o Interfacing with internal Business and Operational Groups, as well as other support groups such as Shipping, Procurement, Project Accounting, Inspection and Expediting.

o Leading a multifunctional design team or organization (Process, C&I, Vessels, Machinery, Structures, etc.) to meet project deliverables within budget and on schedule

o Procurement of major equipment and in line items o Project Scheduling and Cost Control o Use of and familiarity with process and safety tools such as P&ID's and HAZOPs. o Ownership of Project Scope Report, Project Execution Strategy, Risk Management Plan's.

o Change Management o Contracting and management of outsourced detailed design and procurement scope. o Execution in conjunction with EPC or client consortium and partnering arrangements o Project Management of turnkey construction scope including installation of equipment and packages, interconnecting pipework and instrument / electrical cable, infrastructure/utilities scope, tie ins, pipeline networks.

Experience of managing lump sum and remeasured construction work. o Process Plant experience would be an advantage
