PHP & WordPress Developer

As a Senior PHP & WordPress Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading international IT company pioneering innovative digital solutions. You will contribute to the development and industrialization of WordPress sites, deploying personalized plugins and themes to support various business lines. Your main responsibilities:

• Develop customized WordPress plugins and themes, utilizing frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Configure and manage WordPress installations according to best security practices.
• Source and integrate existing plugins to meet specific project requirements.
• Ensure code security, maintainability, and adherence to high coding standards.
• Use Git for version control, collaborating effectively within the development team.
• Participate in the industrialization process of site deployment to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment to deliver innovative solutions.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 9 years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on WordPress projects.
• Proven expertise in building and customizing WordPress plugins and themes.
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, with priority given to WordPress; Symfony and others are advantageous.
• Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in configuring WordPress deployments, focusing on security and standard practices.
• Familiarity with source code management using Git.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (minimum B2).
• Eligibility to work within the European Union.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Certification or hands-on experience with Symfony or other PHP frameworks.
