We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join a global luxury brand embarking on a large digital transformation. You will own and elevate the company's digital experience, ensuring design excellence while driving data-led conversion optimisations.
This will be an initial 6-month fixed term contract with the view to go permanent and excellent career progression.
This role blends premium aesthetics with performance-driven UX/UI, ensuring a seamless, high-converting, and visually stunning digital experience. You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer and Product Manager to set creative direction for the company's website, ensuring pixel-perfect execution and meticulous brand consistency.
Key Accountabilities:
- Brand & Marketing Partnership. Translate brand guidelines and campaign objectives into a cohesive website design. Align on page-level content requirements, run collaborative working sessions, and resolve trade-offs between creative ambition and commercial performance.
- Design System Ownership. Build and maintain a scalable component library, patterns, tokens and documentation so design stays consistent across the site. Produce clear, detailed specifications covering states, breakpoints, interactions and accessibility that developers can build from without ambiguity.
- Mock-ups, Prototypes & Iteration. Create, update and refine high-fidelity designs as the project progresses, iterating quickly on feedback, stakeholder input and testing insights. Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate exploration and produce interactive prototypes for validation.
- Agile Squad Delivery. Take part in Agile ceremonies — stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning and reviews. Coordinate closely with developers, QA the front-end against designs, review pull-request previews, and unblock the team so design intent is preserved in production.
- Customer Journey & CRO. Analyse GA4, heatmaps and session recordings to identify friction, form hypotheses, and design and prioritise A/B tests. Measure impact on conversion and revenue, and feed learnings back into the design system and roadmap.
- Stakeholder Communication. Present design decisions confidently to C-suite and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Retail, Tech and Brand. Challenge assumptions constructively and build consensus across competing priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years in UX, experience design, or CRO within eCommerce or digital retail — with demonstrable commercial outcomes including conversion lifts and revenue impact
- Fluency with AI-powered design and productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, v0, Bolt, Lovable, Midjourney or equivalent) — active daily use, not just awareness
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills — comfortable presenting to C-suite, challenging assumptions and building consensus across Marketing, Retail, Tech and Brand
- Proven experience briefing development teams with annotated prototypes and acceptance criteria
- Data-driven mindset — comfortable with GA4, heatmaps and session recordings, able to translate data into actionable insight and run A/B tests
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and/or Shopify is desirable
- Familiarity with headless CMS (Contentful or equivalent) is desirable
- Background in e-commerce, luxury or considered-purchase retail is advantageous
