The Role

Reporting to the Head of Security and Compliance you'll play an important role in safeguarding the platform and its customers' data. The ideal candidate is a hands-on security practitioner with 5 to 7 years of experience in cloud security, vulnerability management, and security tooling.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Security Projects: Lead, design, and document scalable cybersecurity projects; partner cross-functionally to translate business needs into secure solutions.
• Cloud and AI Security: Drive cloud security design and gap assessments. Embed AI security controls into PageUp’s AI products, applications, and infrastructure.
• Vulnerability & Risk Management: Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and risk analyses across applications and infrastructure to ensure policy compliance.
• Security Stack Management: Implement and optimize security tooling, including AWS Security, WAF, CSPM, Cloud workload protection, Attack surface management, DLP, and data encryption.
• SIEM & SOC Governance: Implement and manage SIEM solutions to centralize log visibility and provide operational governance over external SOC providers.
• Incident Response: Investigate security incidents and risks, leading post-incident reviews with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Compliance & Governance: Implement technical tasks to support ISO 27001 compliance.
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
• Security industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or equivalent or actively pursuing them.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS cloud platform and AWS security features such as IAM roles, Security groups, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub etc.
• Working knowledge of AI security concepts and tooling, and ability to leverage AI for productivity.
• Strong knowledge of network and security protocols, cloud workload protection, application and OS vulnerabilities, cryptography and remote access solutions.
• Working knowledge of one or more scripting languages (python, json, yaml, bash, powershell, etc.)
• Good understanding of ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks, ACSC Essential 8 controls, and OWASP standards.
• Strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude, an analytical mind and outstanding problem solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels with clear and confident communication.
