The role

We're looking for a technically excellent Senior Full Stack Developer who wants to move into mobile. You will join the existing team and grow into React Native mobile application development with support from senior peers who do it every day.

You do not need production React Native experience. If you're a strong engineer with solid full-stack fundamentals and a genuine drive to build mobile products, we'll help you get there.

In this role, you will:

• Enhance and extend existing mobile applications (iOS & Android) built with React Native, with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience
• Take ownership of features from technical design through implementation, testing, and release
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions together with senior peers
• Integrate backend systems and web services (REST and real-time communication)
• Improve application performance, stability, and user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development and production
• Follow and contribute to established best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers in an agile setup

Your profile

• 5+ years of proven experience building production software as a strong full-stack or backend engineer
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Solid experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous, real-time data flows
• Strong grasp of software architecture, performance optimization, and debugging
• A genuine interest in shifting toward mobile (React Native) development. We value strong engineering fundamentals and the drive to learn mobile over years of existing React Native experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to code quality
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with React Native or native iOS/Android development
• Knowledge of VoIP / WebRTC
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS: Lambda, ECS, etc.)
• Experience with CCaaS platforms (Genesys, Amazon Connect, NICE)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, ideally for mobile applications
