Human Resources Specialist (m/f/d)

To support our Human Resources department, we are looking for an HR Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) for our office in Travemünde, Germany.

The area of responsibility includes:

• Preparation, coordination and processing of monthly payroll for seagoing personnel and shore-based staff
• Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with applicable legal, tax and social security requirements
• Maintenance of HR master data and support with administrative HR processes
• Continuous review and optimization of payroll and HR administration processes
• Acting as a contact person for payroll-related and administrative HR matters
• Coordination of selected facility management topics
• Preparation and submission of subsidy applications
• Communication with internal departments, external service providers, authorities and other relevant stakeholders

Your profile:

• Completed commercial or administrative vocational training, or a comparable qualification or degree
• First professional experience in payroll, HR administration or a comparable area of responsibility
• Good understanding of payroll processes; knowledge of German wage tax, social security and employment law is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• High level of reliability, discretion and confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
