Job Description: Human Resource Administrator (Construction and Engineering)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and recruiting top talent within the engineering and construction sector. This role requires a keen understanding of the industry, exceptional communication skills, and a meticulous approach to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other necessary documentation for new hires.
Onboarding and Offboarding
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up workstations, organizing orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews, processing final payments, and retrieving company property.
HR Policy and Procedure Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws, updating HR policies as needed.
- Assist with the communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Provide support with payroll processing by ensuring that all employee data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including enrolling new employees and managing changes.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues or escalating them to the appropriate HR staff.
- Support the HR team in handling employee relations matters, such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Training and Development
- Assist in organizing and scheduling employee training sessions, maintaining records of completed training.
- Support the development and implementation of training programs.
General Administrative Support:
- Prepare HR-related reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
- Assist with organizing HR events, such as company meetings, employee recognition programs, and team-building activities.
HR Systems and Technology
- Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Provide support and training to employees on HR-related systems and tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the construction and engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the construction and engineering industries, including key roles, skills, and market trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
