Product Owner Team Lead

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and client management skills; ability to create collaboration and shared vision across parties with conflicting priorities
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Agile project management essentials
• Technical/ software development or architecture experience in web/mobile applications including 5+ years in business facing role
• Project/product management experience within a software development life cycle for web/mobile applications
• 3+ years' experience in Marketplace or E-commerce
• 5+ years' experience in product development
• Having previously had team management responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate project schedules, budgets, and staffing
• Drive and manage the solution concept development process, and maintain subject matter expertise in the project’s domain
• Create and maintain regularly the solution vision, roadmap, and backlog of work through the project's life cycle
• Take ownership of the solution functionality
• Effectively communicate the solution vision, roadmap, and backlog of work -- including success criteria -- to developers so that they can provide work estimates and accept and complete work to the satisfaction of the stakeholders
• Serve as the customer proxy and decision point to represent the stakeholders in the project
• Communicate with the customer on a regular basis to provide feedback on progress of implementation of the vision
• Verify the functionality and quality of project products
• Ensure end-user acceptance and understanding
• Manage stakeholder satisfaction and ROI; while serving as the functional and/or client needs expert for a product
• Ensure that what the team delivers to the stakeholder meets both contractual requirements and established acceptance criteria, including expected quality and performance
• Own product backlog and requirement prioritization
• Maintain the overall product vision and represent the end customer to the development team

Key Result Areas:

• Development, delivery, maintenance and retirement of a specific product
• Satisfaction of customers of the product
• Backlog management and continuous improvement of product both in terms of product quality and in terms of operational changes
