Senior Cyber Security Specialist

We are looking for a "Senior Cyber Security Engineer" who will take a leading role in managing our SOC processes and ensuring the seamless operation of our SIEM platforms across both on-premise and cloud environments. You’ll play a critical role in fortifying our digital landscape by executing periodic vulnerability programs and coordinating annual penetration tests while working in an environment that values technical excellence and proactive defense. Your Place in the Team

• SOC & Incident Management: You will ensure 24/7 continuity of SOC operations, manage incident response processes, and provide technical mentorship to SOC analysts.
• SIEM Governance: You will handle the installation, configuration, and optimization of on-premise (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and cloud-based (e.g., Azure Sentinel, AWS Security Hub) SIEM solutions.
• Vulnerability Control: You will establish vulnerability management programs, conduct scans using tools like Nessus or Qualys, and prioritize remediation based on CVSS scores.
• Offensive Security: You will define the scope for annual internal and external penetration tests and manage relationships with third-party security firms.
• Compliance & Automation: You will contribute to ISO 27001 and NIST CSF compliance while developing automation workflows through SOAR platform integrations.

We are looking for you if you have

• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in cyber security, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in SOC or SIEM management.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in managing on-premise and cloud SIEM architectures and leading at least one full-cycle penetration testing project.
• Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with security tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and vulnerability scanners.
• Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with international standards and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, and NIST.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Turkish and technical English for reading and writing.
