DECSKILL operates in 3 main areas:

• DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;

• DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed;

• DECSKILL CONNECT, through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

We are looking for a PMO for a hybrid project in Lisbon.

Tasks:

• Establishing project governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure that projects align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Developing and implementing project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach, to guide big Vision Care IT transformation projects execution and delivery.
• Defining standardized project management templates, tools, and techniques to promote consistency and efficiency across projects.
• Providing training, mentoring, and support to project managers and project teams to enhance their project management skills and competencies.
• Managing project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure optimal allocation and utilization across projects.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize the likelihood of project failure or delays.
• Establishing quality standards and processes to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and organizational requirements.
• Generating project status reports, dashboards, and other communication materials to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, issues, and milestones.
• Monitoring and evaluating project performance against established metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
• Continuously assessing and improving project management practices, processes, and methodologies based on lessons learned and industry best practices.
• Engaging with key stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, and project teams, to gain buy-in, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key requirements :

• >3 years relevant professional experience.
• Graduated in Business Administration, Business Informatics / Business IT, Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, agile project management tools and other relevant software.
• High willingness to learn and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
