DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Our partner is a global technology company supplying systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology, enabling the next generation of mobility. They offer comprehensive product and software solutions for established vehicle manufacturers and newly emerging transport and mobility service providers. Your Responsibilities

• Maintain core products Gitlab (CI/CD - version control) and Sonarqube (code quality scanning) through IaC projects on AWS
• Support, extend and improve the available templates used by the product teams and developers using Terraform, Helm
• Be part of the community of practice and share expertise and knowledge with the larger engineering community
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and optimize product/service performance to improve user experience with operational excellence internally and across the organization
• In depth understanding of software delivery processes
• Continuously drive innovation and look for improvements and stay up to date with engineering best practices and developments and to contribute with continuous learning culture, always explore the best innovative
• On-calls 24/7 (one week every 5 weeks)

Our Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience supporting cloud and DevOps environment with related technologies and a developer background
• Expert knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a passion for technology
• Experience and knowledge of Terraform, IaC (infrastructure as code) tooling, Helm and Kubernetes for deployments and automation
• Experience with Containers (Docker)
• Experience with scripting or programming language (bash/python)
• Experience with configuration management, setting up CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI)
• Familiar with micro-services architecture and understanding of cloud application on AWS
