Senior Project Manager

DECSKILL operates in 3 main areas:

• DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;

• DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed;

• DECSKILL CONNECT, through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a hybrid project in Lisbon.

Role:

• responsible for IT work packages in projects for the expansion or commissioning of

production sites

• record and structure requirements from global and local teams and develop

professional solutions in close cooperation with product owners and IT architects

• responsible for (sub-) projects from initiation to successful piloting in production and

roll-out to various locations

• plan, lead and coordinate internal and external project resources
• actively manage risks and changes in the project (budget, scope, timeline)
• responsible for measuring progress and adhering to time, budget and content targets

as part of project controlling and reporting

• take on the task of preparing and visualizing complex IT issues in a way that is

appropriate for the target group

• manage roll-outs and commissioning of applications during hyper-care, ensure knowhow

transfer to the global and local IT operations team

Key requirements :

• a successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, industrial

engineering or a comparable qualification

• knowledge of modern microservice architecture in a hybrid cloud environment
• relevant professional experience in the field of agile IT program and project

management

• professional experience of at least 3 years as a project manager in several projects,
• with responsibility for their planning, management, implementation and successful

transition into operations

• ideally extensive knowledge and certifications in agile project management
• a high degree of initiative (hands-on mentality) and a very structured and goal-oriented

way of working

• advanced skills in PowerPoint and ability to explain complex problems in a simple way

a strong procedural, conceptual and analytical mindset

• excellent methodological skills and a broad knowledge of (agile) tools
• business fluent in written and spoken English
• advanced skills in German are a plus
