With a focus on advancing sustainable technology and delivering cutting-edge solutions to global challenges, we are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our High-Tech Team and contribute to the development of complex modules and high-tech machinery.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Software Engineer:

• Software Architecture Realisation: Develop, implement, and maintain software architecture through the full lifecycle of complex modules and machines.
• Code Development: Work extensively with a code base of C, C++, Python, or C# to deliver reliable solutions for multiple systems and users.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Partner with colleagues from other engineering disciplines and strategic customers within a multidisciplinary agile team.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Guide junior engineers in software development practices, providing technical expertise and leadership.
• Agile Methodology: Actively participate in Scrum teams, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Tool and Technique Exploration: Identify and implement new tools and techniques to enhance software development processes.

What you need to be successful as a Senior Software Engineer:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics or a technical field.
• At least 10 years in high-tech machine control, real-time software, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, and Python, with a strong background in designing and delivering independent software modules.
• Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Configuration Management processes.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Dutch and English.
