Position Summary:

Company is recruiting for the position of a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst within the Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture team, part of the Global Cybersecurity Foundations Department. This team supports all aspects of the information security strategy, design and planning.

The Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture Team are responsible for defining the technical and strategic road maps for the Information Security organisation as well as supporting our internal and external customer requests for architectural support and security guidance.

Main roles and responsibilities are:

• Produces the high level security design patterns and security architecture documentation, covering documented descriptions of the security management procedures, processes, information flows and integrations
• Support and / or lead the process of product evaluations, proof of concepts / value and work with key stakeholders on the review and selection process
• Supporting and / or lead the architectural modelling and documentation of the Cyber Security products and services against selected frameworks
• Support and / or lead the process of threat modelling against new business initiatives and requirements and / or exception governance processes
• Support and deliver technical architecture documentation of high level designs for specific technical solutions covering the functional and non-functional requirements
• Ensures that all corporate standards are adhered to in the security design process
• Obtain knowledge and information on Cybersecurity industry best practice both for products which own and new / emerging technologies and services
• Support the development of and documentation of standard solution and design patterns for the deployment of security products and services
• Provide technical and solution architectural guidance to teams and team members within the Information Security Organisation as well as internal business stakeholder groups outside of Information Security and external customers
• Work with our selected 3rd parties / vendors / partners to critically assess new and / or existing solutions and services, evaluating products and services for their efficiency and effectiveness as well as their cost benefit and return on investment projection

Key Technologies and Experience:

• Experience of security frameworks such as NIST, Mitre ATT&CK Frame work, SABSA and Cyber Kill Chain
• Experience and / or knowledge of IT Architectural, Service and Governance processes such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL
• Experience of Zero Trust networking and connectivity solutions and principles

Specific technical and / or solution experience of one or more of the following products:

• Zero Trust Networking and Connectivity – Products and Services
• Perimeter Security Controls – Products and Services
• End Point Security and Controls – Products and Services
• Multi-Factor Authentication - Products and Services
• Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID
• Public Cloud IaaS and PaaS products and services

People: As an advisor you will be required to informally lead and motivate team members, provide subject matter expertise and guidance and demonstrate thought leadership to help overcome challenges and / or provide innovative solution ideas to tackle business problems.

On Call: There is no On-Call or Shift rotational requirement for this position

The ideal candidate for this job will have courses and/or relevant work experience in some or all the following areas

• Experience in an information security team as part of a global corporation in the roles of either engineering and delivery and / or support and operations
• Have extensive experience in general networking and communications technologies, products and services
• Have extensive experience in general IT infrastructure services across a variety of operating systems and platforms
• Have experience in one or more cloud platforms of either, Azure, GCP or OCI.
• Have experience or exposure to a Dev / Ops application development environment
• Have a highly analytical mind set with a structured approach to problem solving and solution design
• Demonstrate knowledge and give practical examples of a defense in depth strategy and how such an approach benefits the organisation
