About the Internship:

This unpaid internship offers a valuable opportunity for a highly motivated second or third-year Product Design student with a passion for mobile and web design to gain practical experience in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work closely with the founding team, contributing to the development of user experiences for our AI-powered learning app.

This internship will provide exposure to the entire product design lifecycle and offer valuable insights into building a product from the ground up.

Opportunities to Contribute (May Include):

• Assisting with the design of user-friendly interfaces and flows for our mobile and web platforms, focusing on transforming complex educational concepts into simple, elegant designs.
• Example: Contributing to the redesign of the Epapa app's home screen to improve navigation and user engagement.
• Supporting the exploration of innovative design ideas and contributing to the design vision for Epapa’s platforms.
• Example: Assisting with the development of a visually appealing interface for real-time live conversations with the Epapa AI tutor, incorporating interactive and responsive design elements.
• Gaining experience in applying modern UX techniques, including animations, game-inspired elements, and interactive tools, to enhance the learning experience.
• Example: Contributing to testing and refining the user experience for specific topics, ensuring animations and interactive tools improve comprehension and enjoyment.
• Contributing to user research and analysis to inform design decisions.
• Creating mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a first, second or third-year student in a Product Design or related program.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills with a focus on mobile and web applications.
• Proficiency in Figma is essential. Experience with game-inspired design elements is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Interest in EdTech and improving learning experiences for students.
