Job Title: EUC IT Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our dynamic team, serving as a key player in our European operations as part of the Global IT Infrastructure, Security & Operations team. The IT Specialist will provide remote and local support to Yoda Tech’s European users, ensuring a stable, secure, and cost-effective IT environment that aligns with the business needs.


Position Overview:

Reporting to the Regional IT Manager, the IT Specialist will handle all aspects of IT operations, including computer, network, communications, and other infrastructure technologies. This role requires a high level of customer interaction and teamwork, along with the ability to work effectively in sparse environments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Incident Management:
  • Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA)/Service Level Objectives (SLO) are met for day-to-day operations.
  • Resolve second-line incident calls related to:
  • Troubleshooting user issues including Windows 10, remote access, hardware, printers, mobile phones, Office 365, and meeting room equipment.
  • Perform computer break/fix services for all supported users.
  • Act as 'remote hands' for the infrastructure team when needed, assisting with network and computer troubleshooting.
  • VIP support for senior management.

Request Management:

  • Assist in onboarding new hires, providing necessary infrastructure and IT environment setup.
  • Offboard users by removing obsolete infrastructure and access.
  • Ensure compliance with Yoda Tech’s policies and best practices.

Problem Management:

  • Identify the root cause of incidents and propose workarounds or definitive fixes.
  • Asset Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all IT assets and ensure compliance with asset management procedures.
  • Continual Service Improvement:
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Life Cycle Management:
  • Manage replacement of IT equipment in accordance with Yoda Tech’s corporate life cycle policies.
  • Procurement:
  • Handle purchasing of IT accessories, peripherals, and computer replacements.
  • Project Participation:
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for global projects in the region, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Vendor Liaison:
  • Manage relationships with vendors for the maintenance of AV, UPS, and printers.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Windows 10 Certified or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise-wide IT support.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Deskside and remote IT support.
  • Laptops, workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices (Android, iOS).
  • Windows 10, Active Directory, Office 365, VPN (DirectAccess, FortiClient), Follow-me print software, antivirus, and MDM (Intune).
  • Meeting room solutions, including Teams Meeting Room, Logitech Rally, Microsoft Surface Hubs.
  • Use of ticketing tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.).
  • Intermediate knowledge of:
  • Windows Servers, Cisco switches, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
  • Data center/server room management and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a global matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technology is an advantage.
  • Operational Technologies experience is a plus.
