About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager with deep defence experience to contribute to a critical short-term project. This role involves:

• Providing expert consulting to define the approach and scope of defence-focused IT projects.
• Developing realistic implementation plans aligned with defence requirements, including ICT processes, change management, testing, and rollout.
• Advising on security accreditation needs and SaaS migration strategies.
• Engaging with key defence stakeholders, including DDG and JCG, to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.
• Managing third-party vendor relationships and navigating ICTPA-based tender processes.

This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane and requires someone who can make an immediate impact on achieving the company’s near-term objectives, which include securing a pivotal new contract.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record in delivering defence ICT programs, including IT capability delivery and sustainment.
• Expertise in consulting on complex defence projects and addressing specific security and clearance requirements.
• Experience transitioning on-premises systems to SaaS solutions within a defence environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior defence personnel.
• Availability for an initial engagement of 4 weeks over January, with potential for further involvement based on project success.
