Mid/Senior Machine Learning (NL + ENG)

Position: Mid/Senior Machine Learning

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office

Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

Mandatory Languages: One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable

Role Overview

You will leverage your expertise in machine learning to develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models working alongside a team of data scientists and engineers, to contribute to the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment. This position offers a chance to work on cutting-edge technologies and be part of transformative initiatives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists to preprocess and analyze large datasets.
• Evaluate and optimize existing machine learning algorithms for improved performance.
• Deploy machine learning models in production environments using best practices.
• Conduct experiments to validate model performance and enhance accuracy.
• Document processes and results to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science.
  
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience working with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with software development practices such as version control (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning and preprocessing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
